Students aged 8-18 are invited to join architect Ronald Sorgman for a workshop to discover and sketch the unique architecture of downtown Hudson. This program will introduce students of all levels to the language of architecture and basic sketching techniques.

Ron will begin by giving participants a brief tour of some sites with interesting architectural details. Students will then choose a building or a particular detail to sketch. A light lunch will be provided.

Following the program, students may choose to have their sketches included in a calendar being produced by the arts alliance this year. Selected sketches may also be displayed in an exhibit later in the year – more details will be available after the event has taken place.

All materials will be provided. Participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the length of the program.

Preregistration is required by October 15. Register now to join us for this fun new program with a community focus!
