Spring Semester Update-
Lessons were cancelled between March 16 and March 27 to give us time to evaluate our after school music program and determine some options that would keep both our instructors and students safe during the COVID-19 outbreak. Given that we utilize Hudson Public Schools for our lesson program and schools are closed through at least May 4th, most of our instructors will provide online private lessons until further notice. Instructors and parents have been notified of this change. Please contact Lisa Schliker at: firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
Spring Recitals have been cancelled!
After School Music Lessons
The River’s Edge School of Music offers music instruction to all area students (not just from Hudson!). Lessons typically take place in the Hudson Public Schools and are taught by experienced and professional musicians. This year we are excited to be offering individual private lessons as well as a new course for a cappella group singing.
Private Music Lessons
The River’s Edge School of Music offers after school music lessons to all area students (not just from Hudson!) in grades 4-12. Lessons take place in the Hudson Public Schools on Mondays-Thursdays, from 2:30-6:30pm and are taught by experienced and professional musicians. Our instructors offer lessons in woodwinds, brass, and percussion instruments, as well as guitar, piano, and voice. Whether students are beginning a new instrument or honing their skills, the River’s Edge School of Music is dedicated to helping young musicians excel. Our teachers work with students to help them develop basic skills, learn repertoire and prepare them for a spring recital performance.
Note that some instructors are open to younger students on a case by case basis, so please do contact us at email@example.com if you have a younger child interested in joining us!
Private lessons are 30 minutes long. Each semester includes 14 lessons per student. We follow the Hudson Public Schools calendar.
Students are also invited to participate in April recitals (exact dates for 2019-2020 TBD).

A Cappella for Teens
This NEW course offering will give students a chance to build their vocal skills and confidence in a supportive group environment. Under the direction of Manoj Padki, students will learn the basics of vocal production, holding a part in harmony, singing in balance with a group, and more. Repertoire will be determined based on the skill level of enrolled students.
NO audition is needed and students of all skill levels are welcome! Come learn the joy of singing with friends!
The spring semester will begin in February, with registration expected to open in December.
